The Role

As a CMO in Emergency / General Medicine, you will:

• Provide independent, frontline medical care in a busy ED / General Medicine setting
• Work closely with Emergency Specialists and multidisciplinary teams
• Support and supervise junior medical staff
• Contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely assessment, diagnosis, and management of adult and paediatric patients
• Acute emergencies
• Trauma
• Medical and surgical conditions
• Mental health presentations
• Initiate appropriate investigations, treatments, and procedures within scope of practice
• Assist in the management of high-acuity and critically unwell patients

• Remuneration: $185,269 – $220,018 p.a. (depending on experience)
• Permanent full-time position

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility via the Competent Authority Pathway
• Minimum 3 years’ experience at Registrar level in Emergency Medicine
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong commitment to patient safety and teamwork
