Accounts Receivable Officer

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Accounts receivable officer to join our team based in our Wetherill Park office.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, your new role will range of AR tasks that support the wider financial team. This role will be responsible for taking on a diverse workload including all areas of AR and Debt collection.

Be an integral part of Finance team with Inclusive but not limited to below :

• Receipting and allocation of customer payments
• Responding to customer queries
• Contacting customers with overdue accounts
• Get an approval and Processing customer credit claims
• Sending out copies of invoices and statements
• Prepare and present weekly debtors reporting
• Liaising with our branch staff
• Credit checking new customers and setting up new accounts

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

• 2-3 years’ experience in Accounts receivable officer role
• Hands on approach
• Sound planning and organisational skills
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills and ability to comfortably communicate issues/queries with non-Finance staff
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
• Excellent time management skills
• Proficient PC skills, including the strong use of Microsoft Office
