The Position

The Risk and Performance Manager, as part of the Senior Leadership team, is responsible for maintaining and strengthening risk management, business continuity, planning, and performance frameworks. This opportunity leads the facilitation of risk workshops, oversees updates to Business Impact Analyses and Business Continuity Plans, and coordinates the organisational annual business planning cycle and performance reporting.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you will have at least five years experience across:

  • Proven leadership: Overseeing governance, organisational performance, and risk, within a complex or regulated environment
  • Enterprise Risk & Business Continuity Leadership: Lead and embed organisation-wide risk and business continuity frameworks, maintain risk registers, and facilitate risk assessments including project risks.
  • Strategic & Annual Business Planning Coordination: Own the end-to-end business planning cycle, aligning all business unit plans with strategic objectives and monitoring delivery against those plans.
  • Performance Reporting & Insight Generation: Produce high-quality dashboards and reports for Executive and Board, integrating risk and performance data to provide clear, decision-useful insights and highlight emerging issues.
  • Governance & Strategic Oversight: Provide governance oversight of strategic initiatives, ensuring risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges are identified early and managed effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Culture Building: Influence senior leaders and staff to embed a strong risk and performance culture, providing training, advice, and fostering collaboration across the organisation.
