HSE Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated HSE Coordinator to join our manufacturing site in Taree. If you have a bit of experience in a factory or industrial environment and you’re passionate about keeping people safe, we want to hear from you. And even if you don't have all the certifications yet!

This is a role where your attitude and energy matter more than a piece of paper.

We will provide the mentorship and support to help you become a safety professional.

What The Job Looks Like

Working on the floor and in the office, you will be the "go-to" person for site safety:

• On the tools: Conduct safety walks and checks around the plant to spot hazards.
• People person: Run site inductions for new starters and chat with the team during "toolbox talks".
• Admin support: Keep our safety records, training files, and incident reports up to date.
• Compliance: Help ensure we are following all the rules and keeping the environment clean.
• Contractors: Check in with contractors to make sure they are working safely on-site.

What You Bring To The Table

We are looking for someone local (or willing to be) who knows their way around a fast-paced workplace:

Experience: You’ve worked in a manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environment before.

Motivation: You are high-energy, reliable, and take pride in doing a good job.

Communication: You can talk to anyone, from the factory floor to the site manager.

Learning mindset: You’re willing to work towards a Certificate or Diploma in OHS if you don't have one yet.

The basics: You have a First Aid certificate (or are happy to go get one).
