Role Description

This is a fixed term position for a VET Automotive Trainer, located in Telarah NSW.

The role is Monday - Friday for six weeks from May to the end of June 2026.

The VET Automotive Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to students undertaking Certificate II Automotive Vocational Preparation. Key responsibilities include conducting practical workshop tasks and theory lessons, providing feedback to students, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• Qualifications and experience in the automotive industry, including servicing, diagnostics, and repair.
• Certificate IV TAE 40110 in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualifications)
• Experience in instructional delivery and competency-based assessments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid working with children check or ability to obtain one.
